I chose this theme because the design was beautiful and it seemed easy to customize based on my past experiences with WordPress themes. For the most part, it was easy to figure out, there were some areas that were more difficult, but that could be just because I am used to another platform for WordPress.
I’m very happy with my decision and customer support has been very responsive when I needed assistance!

I have purchased the Julia theme because I loved its clean look. The food photos are the focus of the home page and display beautifully, which I adore.
The customer service team has been really helpful and patient, often providing me with custom CSS given my lack of experience using WordPress.
The theme is fairly customizable, though sometimes the pre-written guides and instructions seem a little incomplete. That being said, the team is always an email away.
FYI for those in the US, the team is based in Europe so there is often a delay in response depending on what time you sent your message.
Pixelgrade is by far the best WordPress theme company I’ve ever come across. I love that there’s a limited number of really good themes – not too few, not too many. The installation and Pixelgrade care is a breeze. The support is fantastic. The value is off the charts.
The Julia theme is perfect for food bloggers or anyone with a health and photo-centric website. It stands out from so many other themes, I love the algorithmic photo positioning, and choosing color schemes is super easy. It plays very well with Gutenberg, which is huge.
There’s really nothing bad to say at all. Maybe a few walkthrough videos would help with documentation and onboarding for beginners, but really it’s such a delight to use this theme and others.

Not to good. It is never your fault. I’m too stupid and your answers are so easy to understand. You forced me to read things which can be explained in simple directions to follow for somebody with no informatics background. If I make this kind of things with you when you are asking for legal advice or anything else you will evaluate me as pure crazy. But you are in the mainstream of this behaviour.
I am really sorry you feel like that. 😔 That’s definitely not the kind of experience we want to provide for our customers. This is what happens when we rely on 3rd party solutions for some specific things from our theme, like the Recipe shortcode, which is handled by Jetpack. We think about creating our own solution, most probably a Gutenberg block for recipes, to improve the experience.
I liked the look of the theme, and the price was reasonable, so I went ahead and purchased it.
The only downside is waiting about 24 hours for customer service support, which really isn’t that long, but when your trying to work something out on the site, it would be nice to have a chat feature for faster support.
I would def recommend you to a friend, for sure!

My food blog needed a serious update. I choose the theme Julia because it was absolutely beautiful! The theme is super customizable so my blog doesn’t look like a copy of someone else’s nor was it hard to put together. I ran in to a few issues and reached out to support with my questions. Alin responded to each of my questions and fixed my main concern! Wonderful service and a wonderful theme. I couldn’t be happier.

I bought the Julia theme because the design was stunning to begin with. After in depth customisation, opening the website feels basically like coming home!
The theme was great to work with from the start, even for a total wordpress newbie like me. I ran into a couple of bugs in the beginning, and the customer support and developer team were super available and fixed up everything quick.
Later, I contacted customer support again when I had trouble setting a focus point for my images and received the css code and instructions to solve the issue. This is actually more than I could ever hope for.
All my interactions with the Pixelgrade team have been unmatched in terms of service, responsiveness and communication. Thanks guys! I’m already checking out your other themes for my next project.

I chose theme Julia because I own a food blog and I found it to be the most appropriate for what I needed. I loved the design and how the home page looked like. I wanted my blog to also look like that – professional, modern, clean, big photos and have an edge. I think I wanted my blog to look more like a website then a blog, so with Julia I took the next step.
I like that the theme is very versatile and easy to use. I had used WordPress before so I kind of knew my way around the site. I also received sooooo much help from the Pixelgrade team when I was at a loss. I had help every step of the way.
