Is Rosa free?
Yes. Rosa is a starter design included with the free Pixelgrade LT stack. Pixelgrade Plus is an optional paid upgrade for deeper controls, updates, and hands-on help.
What do I need to get started?
A self-hosted WordPress site and the free Pixelgrade LT stack. Choose this design during setup, then add your own content and identity.
Can I build the demo with the free stack?
You can start from Rosa and its essential layouts for free. Some advanced visual controls, premium assets, WooCommerce styling, and assisted support shown across Pixelgrade sites require Plus.
What does Pixelgrade Plus add?

I already bought this theme. What changes for me?

I bought the Rosa LT theme from Pixelgrade simple due to the design. I really liked the layout and felt that I could use it to fit the business perfectly. The website has turned out great, and as someone who is not very WordPress savvy, a lot better than expected.
The best part about Pixelgrade, for me, is not their themes(which in and of themselves are awesome) but their customer support. The support team has been so kind and helpful in assisting me with any design problems that I was unable to fix. They have exceeded my expectations when buying this theme, and I cannot thank them enough.
I don’t really make websites, I’m usually spending my time on Facebook Ads and Google Ads, but my sister has a really successful restaurant and was getting quoted silly pricing just for a simple restaurant website. So I told her I’d make one for her free, which I did, using Rosa.
Rosa is a really modern and slick theme, my favourite part are the menus, they’re so much better than PDFs that people have to view on drive or even download just to even look at. I can see by Google Analytics, the time people spend on the menu page and even booking page. The menu page, people are spending over an average time of over 3 minutes and booking page, 7 mins!
This is because of Rosa, it makes it super easy, you can even just import their demo and replace it with your own information, which makes it super easy to create a restaurant site or you can fully customise it to your own needs.
Lastly, the support is unbeatable, I ran into site-breaking problems, and George from Pixelgrade, helped me fix every single problem and I really appreciate the response time and help because I am really not the best with WordPress as is, I just know the basics.
Would whole-heartedly recommend this theme because of the accessibility and customer support.

I bought this theme because I loved the layout and thought it would suit our restaurant well. It was easy to modify to our needs especially for someone who is not that website savvy. I like ROSA because it’s clean and user friendly. Simplicity does not make the product less interesting. ROSA looks special and has a large margin for customization. I will be happy to find out more about this theme soon.

First, Rosa is a gorgeous design out of the box. Even if your store, site, etc is going to layout differently, you can see the potential when you are browsing through the demo.
Second, you have A LOT of flexibility in what goes where, and which elements you want to keep and which you don’t.
Of course, with that second piece is the “with great power comes great complexity” conundrum. Figuring out HOW to change things isn’t always obvious. You get there eventually, but it’s not click-button simple. Nor, I’ll say as someone who’s worked on WP sites for over a decade, SHOULD it be.
Finally, the support is top notch. I have gotten responses in a matter of hours on every one of my questions.
THAT, my friends, is worth the price of admission right there.
Just like several recent reviews, my issue is with updates and the new color customizer. It chooses the colors for you and the only way to override them is to use tons of “!important” tags in css. If you want a white background it makes your text a dark pastel and you get a drab grey-toned accent color regardless of your chosen brand colors. You will be unable to use your brand colors as you want.
I’m not even exaggerating when I say you will not be able to use your brand color AT ALL unless you apply it manually in custom css for each element. In fact, if your brand color is #e35a37, it will not show up in ANY of the predesigned selections. It doesn’t even bother to use the actual color you select. I just thought to check the eye dropper in dev tools and was amazed.
Additionally, every update messes with my margins, padding and content width settings and I get constant “Attempt Block Recovery” messages. It was a god send in the beginning during the shift to Gutenberg, but something happened a few months ago and it’s not being addressed.
