I bought this for my daughter. She’s a photography student at university and needed a website to start to showcase her work.
I wanted a WordPress theme as it’s it gives me the most flexibility and is a great platform to use. We looked around at several WordPress themes and chose this one as it was just what she was looking for.
She loves it and is starting to add her work to it. It’s very easy to add content to and looks really professional.

Looking for a portfolio-type WordPress theme, I stumbled upon Pixelgrade works and instantly loved what they were proposing with Timber. The price tag was a little surprising at first, compared to all the other themes I had seen before, but after playing a lot with their demo I was convinced this would be a good investment and I have zero regret so far. I spent more than a year adapting the theme to my subtle needs and never-ending ideas before deciding to finally put the website online, so if like me you are not a pro at coding and “take your time”, their extensive support is a real plus. Obviously, the most technical questions may fall out of the support range, but even in such cases, their friendly team always came up with interesting suggestions or hints that helped me find solutions and move forward. THANK YOU!
I still love this THEME bought in 2016, still hot in 2023. Support is great! The theme is not greatly customizable, but still loving is. I have found some workarrounds. Cheers!
I chose to buy the Timber theme because of the very elegant minimalistic design. At first I had some trouble getting started, but that was more my problem, I don’t work with Wordpress very often. I was happy Timber worked with the classic editor, very easy. The customer support answers all my questions very friendly, very quick and very professional.
The overall design is nice and I like it.
However, it seems that specialized knowledge is required to customize it in detail, and I found it a little difficult for me as a beginner.
I hope I can lay out the text more freely.

The theme is easy to handle. But I miss any options to handle the font size.
It would also be cool if there are more options to configure the portfolios.
