I have been using Timber for years and they never let me down on any silly questions that I have in the beginning. After years of using and familiarizing the templates, I felt like need a change on my website look since I moved to London from Istanbul. I choose Lens because of its easy usage for my clients. Incredible features like Proof Galleries and customization interface simplicity.
The only downside I can point is the ‘likes’ in galleries. It could be off-putting for some of my clients and myself to show the project with 5 likes. Because people do not visit my site to ‘like’ projects they just browse and leave. Many even don’t realize they can click that like button. It would look way more professional to have an option to remove the “like” button from the gallery.
The second thing could be my bad, with the previous template I have been hacked from the woo-commerce plugin. I would love to see another online selling plugin to have a chance to sell my prints directly from my website.
Pixelgrade is a perfect place to build your website without any headaches. Code is incredibly well done and flexible, customer service is on point and solution-focused.

I purchased the Lens WordPress theme because of its ease of use, excellent documentation and flexibility. Overall, the theme was very easy for me to customize it and I haven’t experienced any issues using the theme. Of course, if I did – I’m confident in Pixelgrade’s support.

I purchase advertise Ferrari and I get Alfa Romeo which needs to go to the service right after the purchase. This is an honest review after one weak of using Lens theme (Pixelgrad team will ask you to give a review one day after your purchase so don’t do that, wait till you see how the product is working).
Out of the box, on the brand new install of WordPress, social icons are not showing correctly and support needs to step in with the custom code. If you install WooCommerce, your site will become so slow that you cannot use it. If you don’t have really fast and good hosting don’t think about WC and Lens theme together. Masonry gallery have a bug and it won’t be fixed by the Pixelgrade (at least not in near future). It shows a big empty gap at the bottom of the gallery page on some screen resolutions. Support is OK, they are doing their job … and that’s just to talk to you and tell you, well what you can do, what we can do? … we sold you Alfa instead of Ferrari and you pay for it … now you need the find a way to drive it and be happy …
If you want to refund your money you need to contact ThemeForest directly because they will not take care of that.
So my friend, avoid Lens theme if you want to use a woocommerce solution or you want to present your pictures on the website using a masonry layout …

I have been using the Lens theme since a 2019 re-build of my website. Having spent a great deal of time researching the various options for modern web platforms, e.g. pre-packaged ‘photography’ solutions, to WordPress, and a few other options, I came to realize that Lens theme gave a good deal of flexibility and had most of the features I required; other options seemed to relegate text or assume the only item of importance was a simple gallery, etc.
