The theme looks awesome on the demo. But most of the features in the demo require more than half a dozen premium plugins “very expensive plugins”.
Listable could have been the best theme on the internet if it wasn’t for the very poor documentation which barely skims the surface. Every help article points to a third party documentation.
Lacks essential features and options for example not being able to add a mere ‘title’ for the widgets, among several others.
Customer Support is slow and the log in to submit the ticket also has issues.
Severe lack of flexibility, requires heavy coding to customize the website to make it look your own.
Disappointed really.

All the free and premium plugins are mentioned both in the presentation page and the documentation.
Listable is at the most part, a plugin-based theme (as all the themes should be — best practice) in terms of functionality.
By compartmentalizing as much as possible, you are creating fewer headaches for yourself in the future. If you don’t need a certain aspect in your website the next time you update simply deactivate it. If you install a new theme, your Google Analytics code will still be output since it wasn’t tied directly to the theme. If a payment gateway is no longer a viable option for you simply deactivate it and install a new one. None of these would be nearly as simple if you had every aspect of your site based around and linked to your theme.
Regarding the support requests — we answer support questions every day from Monday to Friday . During this time, we strive to respond to all theme queries within 24 hours. More advanced or technical queries may take longer.
We’re truly sorry to see that this misunderstanding led to a 1* rating for Listable.

There were so many reasons for my rating I just used other. Totally regret buying this theme. Too many css code work a rounds needed for simple things like the footer text. SMH. No side bar option on the first page. For a directory, you should be able to have a sidebar for additional and you had the nerve to go up on the price. The simple subscription add on I purchased now does not allow me to list free listings, everyone has to pay the subscription price so that’s money down the drain. Good luck with your $85 theme that doesn’t do what we need it to.

We’re not here to make a fool out of anyone, but to deliver a great experience to you and anyone who considers PixelGrade. Listable is actually a really customizable theme, but we don’t bring all the imaginable options on the table. Depending on needs, it can be tailored in many ways.
Currently, there’s isn’t any out of the box option for the sidebar, however, there are a few topics here, here and here which might come in handy.
In order to post free listings, you’ll have to create a free package which will have the price set to 0$.

A listing theme without the a simple solution for adding social media addresses like Facebook, Instagram and Mail in listings makes this theme a bad choice. You should not have to buy expensive extra plug-ins and add lots of code to have these simple options.

I am currently building my own listing service based on this template and I must say it is fantastic. Simple in terms of design, easy to customize and very stable in terms of performance. I can highly recommend it. Support is also very fast and it is very well documented – way to go guys!
