I love the look and fell of the theme. Navigation for customization can be little challenging and some of the codes are not responsive. I love the support and the options available.

I really loved the “collage” look of this theme – the styling of the pages and posts as well as fonts and colors. The downsides are the menu options. I would have loved to be able to change more in the customizer (different display options for “sub-categories” or that the menu moves as you scroll in the page – smth like that.)
I strongly believe tho if you’re fit enough in CSS you can change it all very easily, and the CSS editor works perfectly and does what it should do.
Overall (for me as a musician) its a theme that gives you something more creative than those typical Musician-sites you see everywhere now. And by creative I mean something that lives and breathes, not static, colorful, therefore fresh – seriously: I love it.

The design is clean, modern and simple. Attractive to view and easy to handle its functionalities. Only downside is that the ‘back to top’ arrow only appears at the end of the post instead of everywhere during the down scrolling.

I spent literally weeks on finding a proper and cool design for my blog. The moment I saw Patch, I knew this is what I wanted! First of all, it really stands out from the usual blog themes and second of all I’m in love with the clean, minimalistic yet elegant design. The theme editor is super easy to use and I gotta say, I’m pleasantly satisfied with the support team!

Beautifully minimalist themes: simplicity at its best
One of the things I like most about PixelGrade’s themes is their consistency. If I had an online media empire, I would use a different PixelGrade theme for each website.
For my personal site, I opted for Patch, which has a more ‘in your face’ style and font selection than the very similar-looking Hive, which I also considered. If I decide to create a separate portfolio for my photography work, I’ll almost certainly use Timber, which has a similar feeling as the two previously mentioned themes.
The tile display algorithm of posts on the front page works great (though posts sometimes overlap), and the responsive designs work seamlessly on all mobile devices and huge screens I’ve tried so far. And the pre-selected text formats (dropcap, highlight, pull left, blockquote…) save me a lot of time in making an appealing layout for my articles.
I also love how the post layout changes depending on whether the featured image is orientated as a portrait or a landscape. On this point, however, there are two minor issues. Firstly, I’d like to be able to manually choose one layout or the other (sometimes, the template gives me a landscape layout despite the photo being taller than it is wide), and secondly, when a portrait post has too many categories, it messes up the layout and prevents the text from wrapping around the displayed picture.
Customer service is great, and though I haven’t brought up the two previous points, they have been extremely helpful the few times I’ve needed assistance.
Finally, however, there’s no denying PixelGrade themes are expensive – almost twice the price of other great looking WordPress templates. But hey, you pay for what you get, and I just couldn’t bring myself to buying a cheaper theme when this one so perfectly matched my style.
