First of all, two thumbs up for your support team ! Reactive, helpful, efficient and competent ! It’s a real pleasure to work with Pixelgrade.
Then, the Hive design is really great and it’s just perfect to be used as a blog !
On the other hand, we would need some more features today to fit our needs. As I’ve also been working with Divi on many other websites for several years now, the lack of freedom in building a page with Hive makes it a second choice to fulfil our needs that go beyond “just blogging”.

I bought the product because of the design. I was looking for a theme for copywriters, copywriters, journalists for a very long time. Clean and with the effect on the text. This was the only theme for wordpress I found. My request was answered by Andrei ser quickly, professionally and friendly. I was amazed that Andrei can put himself in the customer’s shoes and offer step-by-step instructions on how to solve the problem. Or support via remote. Excellent! Trustworthy! If I’m looking for a theme again, I’ll look at Pixelgrade first. Best Manuela.

Good, some of them still need to work… especially the header area should have a subscribe button and the footer looks good and simple. I like simple and clean but below swipe bar sometimes annoying. Get rid of it. And future update required.

Travel Writers Online were looking for a strong serif font face and a theme that put the blog posts on the front page. Hive does this with ease and had a clean black and white designer feel that showcased the literary writing that we do. No real downsides yet. We are also experimenting with Google Adsense to help support our writing and to help advise our students who are bloggers and writers on the best ways to make a living from their literary work. Hive just picked up the Adsense ads and they worked from the start. Our online course is the next element to add and Pixelgrade have bundled a free form generator that we can use to collect course registrations.

The themes with Pixelgrade are some of the most well designed, classy ones I’ve found. I chose Hive because it was a blog that felt like a nice design magazine, though all of them are nice, in my opinion. The customer service is always pretty fast and very personable and friendly. I didn’t take advantage of the Facebook group that much, but it looked like an amazing resource for others to figure things out together.

The professional design of the Hive theme was foremost in drawing me to the product. I continue to receive compliments about the design which enhances the rich content Narrative Paths Journal offers. The value was immediate once I learned the basics. Educating myself as to its potential is an ongoing process. I appreciate the intuitive nature of Pixelgrade and the Hive theme. Adaptability continues to be a strong point. Can there be improvements – that’s the nature of technology. The Pixelgrade team is professional, knowledgable and supportive.

I bought this theme pretty skeptical and with a little anxiety, because I wasn’t sure I could justify the expense for a personal/early professional blog when I could do the coding myself. But although I can do the coding myself, an hour into playing with the Hive theme I am so, so glad I didn’t. I am thrilled to say all that worry was unnecessary, because the Style Manager and theme options make my life so. much. easier.
Anyway — sorry for my earlier skepticism. 🙂 I just wanted to share my joy (and relief!) at having invested in such a professional-looking and powerful theme!
