I find Pixelgrade themes easy to use and straight forward since I’ve used more than one. There are some differences between what you see on a phone and computer with the picture galleries and layouts, the phone images seem to work/look better in my case. Their products are easy to use even without too much WP knowledge and you can ask questions and get help by friendly staff if needed.
Simple and efficient design. Updates proof. Support is good
Updates ar frequent-. Still needs improvements. The integration with open table is really good.
But shortcodes are a bit complicated sometimes.

I chose this theme (OSTERIA) because it is really very good. However, it does not work with the Five Stars Reservations plugin “and the plugin does not work with the ROSA theme either.
I contacted support by email but it seems that there are major communications problems. I waited a week for an answer that I never received, I again and very politely;) contacted the support who told me never have received my request, it does not matter I returns my request with the access codes and I never received a return. So my question is: it is more interesting to buy the theme directly or to go through Envato because with the support (which is the same I think) I will have received an answer …..

I bought this product because at first, Pixelgrade was recommended by WordPress. In another hand, the fact that you bought one theme that is really affordable and that last forever is really why I choose this product over other websites.
The fact that Pixelgrade has some categories to help us choose a website that is in cohesion with what we need is super cool (like restaurant categories, blog categories, etc…) and very helpful for newbies like me.
My first utilisation of it was actually a bit scary because I thought things would be easier at some parts. The theme is definitely customizable, but some skills of coding are still required a lot which is hard for someone who don’t know nothing about it.
Also, even thought it is not a problem for me, I know that if I had to recommend this to some of my friends, the fact that everything is in English could be crippling for them. So, if I had a recommendation, I guess it would be super cool if we could have different languages available to reach a lot more people.
But except these parts, the customer support team is actually the best one I’ve ever seen, in any category. I would like to give a special mention to Alexandru, which helps me a lot with all that coding things, and was always super nice, patient and helping with me. He always answered so nicely, even when I asked him thousand questions a day. He really is a life saver and I couldn’t have done the things I wanted to do without is help and his kindness.
Beautiful design, with enough customization options to push or update a working site in a short time.
Encountered a few bugs and issues with other plugins. But customer support was very responsive. Solutions advised did not always work. Nevertheless, I still managed to find alternative solutions to issues.
It would be great if Pixelgrade also offered a theme with more slant towards ecommerce, e-retail.

I purchased the theme based on the overall appearance and display options. It works quite well but takes a bit more time to get comfortable with how sections on a page are treated. I had issues getting the grid builder to work properly but pairing it with another builder was quite easy and didn’t affect the overall ability of the product to deliver a well-designed site. I really like the menu builder and front-end presentation.

Your designs and layouts are some of the best I’ve ever seen. They all are characterized by a timeless sense of style and taste which hold up well in today’s always changing design trends. This is very important for my clients as they don’t want to be changing themes every 6 months to stay current and on trend. Everything looks (in the demos) to be so well thought out with the specific industry for each theme kept in mind (eg restaurants, magazines, etc). The typography is always a critical element for me, and your themes always appear to value the type as much as I do.
I have to be honest, I have had regrets for spending so much money on your themes. Osteria I paid for twice; once on Creative Market and again on PixelGrade webshop. I suppose I wouldn’t mind that AT ALL except that in my experience, the theme(s) are very buggy. I cringe when I see that there is an update as I am very cautious that any update might put me into a position to spend a lot of time troubleshooting and reapplying fixes from a previous version.
That said, I can say that your support team are VERY good. While not all of the bugs or issues have been resolved (some are still present for 3 versions!) I have always received very helpful information and workarounds. Always with a great attitude and very helpful advice.

I was searching for a specific restaurant theme and came across the Rosa theme. But I had seen that theme being used on some other restaurant websites and therefore I wanted something else. Then I saw the Osteria theme and immediately loved it. The installation of the theme and demo content was a piece of cake and the customization worked liked I hoped. The few questions I had did receive a very quick reply, so they scored bonus points with that! I would certainly advise buying this theme if you’re looking for a restaurant theme!

After building a website with this theme, I now can see why Pixelgrade charges a premium for their themes, and in one way I am actually happy about that as not as many people will have sites looking the same. But the reason they charge a premium is because they make QUALITY themes. Everyone uses that word here on ThemeForest, and sometimes what looks good is just a nightmare of bloatware or stuff just not tested and working correctly for different browsers or devices. Sure it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of other big name themes to that level of customizability, but it does just about everything I needed it to, and it has UNIQUE stuff that most themes do not or not worry about fundamental stuff. Very happy, and support has been great too! Great team of designers and UX experts I would say.
