Managing the Page Transition Symbol
Fargo comes with a visual tweak that can amplify the entire story of your website and improve the browsing experience for your visitors—it’s called a Page Transition Symbol. To use and customize it, follow the steps below, and you will make it work in the blink of an eye.
What’s a Page Transition Symbol?
The page transition symbol can be one of two things:
- a letter (or a group of letters or even a stand-alone word);
- an SVG code.
Both are easy to include in the flow of your website.
How do I add the Page Transition Symbol?
Here’s what you need to do to insert a letter as the page transition symbol:
- Log into your WordPress dashboard;
- Go to Appearance → Customize → Theme Options → click on General;
- Write down a letter or a relevant word; usually, most people use the first letter from their website’s name, but it’s not mandatory. Here’s a screenshot that can help.
In case you want to play around with an SVG, you need to copy-paste the code in the exact same available field. Here’s a screenshot for more details. If you are looking for great SVG icons, we recommend using The Noun Project. Feel free to explore with whatever represents you best and fits the overall look and feel of your website.
