Blank Page After Using the Back Button
If a page looks fine on first load but turns blank when you use the browser’s back button or swipe-back gesture, this is usually a known issue from older Anima versions rather than a missing page.
This was reported most often on Safari and iPhone/iPad swipe-back navigation, and it has been fixed in Anima 2.0.13 and newer.
How to recognize this issue
- the page goes blank only when navigating back
- refreshing the page immediately fixes it
- the content is still technically there, but invisible
- the problem is easier to reproduce with Safari, swipe-back, or trackpad back navigation
What to do
- Update your LT theme so it includes Anima 2.0.13 or newer.
- Clear any caching layer after the update.
- Test again in the same browser where you reproduced the issue.
Why updating is the right fix
This was a theme-level issue that affected back/swipe-back restoration on older Anima builds, especially in Safari. It was fixed in Anima 2.0.13, so the correct resolution is to update rather than add a CSS workaround.
Where to update
For the update steps, follow Updating the Theme. Once the update is complete, retest the back button behavior before changing anything else.
