Personalizing your website’s appearance
Bucket takes full advantage of the Customizer to manage the settings for your layout, spacings, sizes, and more as easily as possible.
And what better way to make style twists than with the live preview? Simply change any setting and see it take effect right way from Appearance → Customize. Make sure it represents your overall style and is in line with your brand personality. Consistency matters and helps you stand out from the crowd.
Using the WordPress Customizer
Bucket Style
The Style options control the general styling of the site, like accent color and Google Web Fonts. You can choose custom fonts for various typography elements with font weight, charset, size and/or height. If you want to override these elements you can always use the CSS Editor panel.
Sharing
Here you can set up the desired Social Sharing Services for your entire site. You can easily add, remove and track social sharing and choose the ones you need from the long list of services provided by AddThis.
Site Identity
Here you can simply choose a Site Title, Tagline, and a Site Icon to further personalize your site.
Colors
Choose a background color for the entire site.
Background Image
If you want to use an image as a background you have some options available here.
Using the built-in Theme Options
Another way to customize your site’s appearance is by clicking on the Theme Options section from your WordPress Dashboard (screenshot). Let’s run through each option that you can customize here.
General

Articles
Customize the way your articles (blog posts) show up by changing options like the title position, blog archive layout, excerpt length, read more text, etc.
Header
This is the place where you can customize the way your website’s header looks and feels. You have three layout styles to choose from and a few other settings that you can enable or disable according to your needs.
Footer
Besides a few other options, an important one is the ability to customize the copyright text.
Social and SEO

Add custom CSS code
You have the ability to insert your own custom CSS code straight into the Customizer and get a live preview of it. Go to Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS and add your custom code.
