I have scanned internet to find a theme that showed my portofolio in the easiest and cleanest way.
A photographer friend showed me his wordpress site and that was made with Border. I liked it a lot so now I have used it the last years and don´t want any other. For a while it wasn´t updated but that is now fixed by the nice guy George at the helpdesk. If I should ask for anything else regarding this theme it would maybe be to have some more choices when it comes to choose if the texts/headlines should be visible or not when looking at the page on a phone. At a desktop now, the text is visible when pointing at that reportage. This looks in my mind better.
On the phone, all texts are highlighted from the begining. It would be good to have an option to have it like on a computer.
I can in any case recommend Pixelgrade to you if you are like me a photographer.
I picked the Border theme because I wanted a theme for photography (and other things) with a clean, elegant design. My site looks a lot more professional now and does a much better job of showing off my work.
The team at Pixelgrade also provided excellent support. When I pointed out a (small) bug in displaying photo captions under certain circumstances, they gave me an immediate fix to add to the theme css.
The only downside I might mention about using the theme is you do need to be cognizant that building a site with big galleries capable of displaying images at high resolution is going to chew up more resources. It caused me to pay more attention to site tuning than I have in the past.
I loved the theme, and although I was a bit disappointed that its upgrade changed the overall look quite significantly, I’m still happy with it.
The customer service I’ve received when there was a problem was immediate and extremely helpful
Everything is fine. Don’t want to spend many time on working on my website. Want to be easy and for a long life with easy upgrades. So everything is ok with Border.

I bought this template because I think it the best template for photographer. It looks like a paper magazine. It’s a very clean theme that allow you to focus on the photos.
1. I liked the look of the theme.
2. Conflict between some plugins and the theme; limitations in terms of customization.
3. I would recommend your product – my site looks great and a lot of that is down to the template.
