The Gema theme is my all-time favorite of the WordPress themes I’ve utilized. I was drawn to the unique magazine-style design. Prior to purchasing, I watched a video about Gema customizations and was sold. I love it today as much as I did the day I purchased.
The only small issue I’m dealing with is hyphenations, particularly in titles, but also within the body. Hyphens are a pet peeve of mine, so I’d love to find a work-around. I’ve been in touch with Alex from Pixelgrade who is helping me with different solutions. I feel confident it will be resolved.
Gema is a theme that will set you apart from other blogs. Its artistic design goes far beyond standard blog themes. I was using Gema Lite already and then purchased the Pro version which was a win because it wasn‘t expensive and has so much more to offer especially design-wise. I love how dedicated the custom service is — I had and have so many questions and they help me a lot with it!

I initially used the Gema Lite theme and really liked the design; as I wanted quite an image heavy website with a simple design and menu system. The full Gema theme offered me the options I needed to be able to customise it to how I wanted it.
If I’ve had any issues or difficulty I’ve had with formatting or customising parts of the theme, then the customer service team have always been very prompt and helpful at sorting out for me – often going above and beyond to help.
The one off fee is reasonable, and with the help you get from Pixelgrade, represents really good value for money.

I wanted a particular structure, a certain flow of information, to make my content easy to read without any random clutter. When I found Gema, I knew it’s the right one for me – aesthetically and functionally. It’s flexible and easy to customize, so I don’t get annoyed when I want to do a minor change.

I was amazed by Pixelgrade’s website and bundle of themes. I chose them because the themes are different than anything else I’ve seen on WordPress. It helps that they have a personal approach and warm attitude towards their customers, are modern, flexible and easy to communicate with. If I were to describe Pixelgrade to a friend I would say they are like a cozy local grocery shop: a place where people greet you by name when you walk in and already know your preferences.
