Adding Share Buttons to Listings

Allow visitors to share your content on social media by adding Share buttons to your listings.

Step 1 — Install the Jetpack plugin

Sharing tools are powered by the famous Jetpack plugin. It should come as a recommended plugin after theme activation.

If it’s not installed, go to Plugins → Add New → Search for “Jetpack” and click on Install Now. Once it installs, click on Activate.

Step 2 — Activate the Sharing module

Now go to Jetpack → Settings → Sharing → under the Sharing buttons tab activate the option “Add sharing buttons to your posts and pages.”

Step 3 — Add Sharing Buttons

You can finally add the sharing buttons to your listings in four short steps:

1. Navigate to Settings → Sharing in your site’s dashboard.
2. Under the Sharing Buttons, drag and drop the services you want to use into the Enabled Services area. Here’s a visual representation;
3. Choose your preferred button style and where you would like the buttons to appear.
4. Save! That’s it!
