I bought this theme years ago when it first came out and I fell in love with the simple and unique look. I also loved the fact that it came with a built-in WooCommerce platform, which I knew I would need in the future. The product display and the custom features were a big selling point for me. I’m not sure how I found out about the Pixelgrade and the Pile theme, but I am sure glad I did. As a designer my job opportunities are directly affected by how I present my work to prospective clients and employers. I’ve been using the Pile theme for over four years and I have no plans on changing anytime soon. There are so many reasons I love this theme. Here are the top three.
1. Beautiful, Inspiring Design: The design is beautiful down to the smallest details. The hero area gives you the ability to make a splash and the content builder lets you build pages that elegantly layer image and copy. I appreciated the sample content provided as it gave me ideas for how to design my own pages.
2. Customizations: Everything is customizable, even for a Wordpress newbie like me. The hero area, portfolio grid, colors, type—it all can be easily customized. If, like me, you know a little CSS you can take it even further.
3. Customer Service: Probably the biggest reason why I’m happy with this purchase. The Pixelgrade team is quick to respond to your questions and any issues that may arise. They’re prompt, friendly and reliable (like the theme).

The design caught my eye in the first place by its originality and diversity of creative options to display my work. The template is easy to use with basic WordPress knowledge. There were two issues/bugs in the template when I bought it and the technical support gave me a temporary alternative to one of them, and they got fixed in the next theme update after a few weeks. I also needed some support from them to customize a couple things and they provided me with some code to do it. Great support overall. Thanks guys, good work with this template, highly recommended!

The PILE theme is that “something else” we dreamed of: bold, creative, very elegant and fluid at the surface. “Behind the curtains” everything is easy, clear and flexible. WOW! Love this amazing PILE theme, I’m a graphic designer, I started to build my website in Dreamweaver, and I was not happy. I remember seeing PILE Theme from Pixelgrade, I had a link to the PILE theme that I had saved not long ago. I was very impressed, how the pages were moving kind of synchronized, watched their video more than a few times. Finally, I when ahead and purchased the theme, I was not sure about it, but let me tell you, the best decision I have ever made, I’m so happy with the outcome. The few questions I had were answered in minutes. For sure I don’t know the capability of this theme, meaning how much I can do. I would love to see more advance videos on PILE. If you are a graphic designer, photographer, illustrator, or whatever is your media, these guys from Pixelgrade ROCK! Thanks so much and keep doing it. Congratulations to you all!
