Pixelgrade LT Requirements
Your Pixelgrade LT site, built on the Anima block theme, relies on a specific WordPress, plugin, and hosting setup to run properly. Use this page to confirm your environment matches the supported versions below.
WordPress version
Pixelgrade LT requires WordPress 6.0 or newer. We test against the latest release (currently 7.0) and recommend keeping WordPress up to date so you get the newest Site Editor and block features.
Plugins version
These are the minimum plugin versions Pixelgrade LT expects. Update any plugin below the listed version before troubleshooting further.
- Pixelgrade Assistant: version 2.0 or newer.
- Nova Blocks: version 2.0 or newer.
- Style Manager: version 2.0 or newer.
- WooCommerce (only if you run a shop): keep it on a recent, supported version.
You don't need to hunt these down one by one — Pixelgrade Assistant surfaces the plugins Pixelgrade LT recommends and flags anything that needs attention. Open Appearance → Pixelgrade Design (the Pixelgrade hub) to review your setup.
To roll a plugin back to a previous version, use the WP Rollback plugin. To prevent a specific plugin from updating automatically, use the Block Specific Plugin Updates plugin.
Hosting requirements
Your host needs to meet these baselines for Pixelgrade LT to run reliably. Most managed WordPress hosts already do; shared hosts may need a support request to adjust PHP or memory.
- PHP: version 7.4 or newer (8.1–8.3 recommended).
- MySQL: version 5.7 or newer.
- HTTPS: required on the live domain.
- PHP memory limit: 256M or greater.
If any value falls short, ask your hosting provider to update it for you — most support teams handle this on request.
Where to check your setup
WordPress can show you almost all of these values in one place, no technical knowledge required:
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Tools → Site Health, then open the Info tab.
- Expand the Server section to see your PHP version, MySQL/MariaDB version, and PHP memory limit.
- Expand the WordPress section to confirm your WordPress version, and the Active Plugins section to confirm each plugin's version.
- For anything theme-related, open Appearance → Pixelgrade Design — the Pixelgrade hub shows your active theme (Anima) and the recommended plugin stack in one view.
If everything above checks out and you're still stuck, head to Appearance → Pixelgrade Design → Help to search the documentation or reach support.
