Is Rosa free?
Yes. Rosa is a starter design included with the free Pixelgrade LT stack. Pixelgrade Plus is an optional paid upgrade for deeper controls, updates, and hands-on help.
What do I need to get started?
A self-hosted WordPress site and the free Pixelgrade LT stack. Choose this design during setup, then add your own content and identity.
Can I build the demo with the free stack?
You can start from Rosa and its essential layouts for free. Some advanced visual controls, premium assets, WooCommerce styling, and assisted support shown across Pixelgrade sites require Plus.
What does Pixelgrade Plus add?
Plus adds the full design system, advanced block controls, premium fonts and assets, WooCommerce styling, advanced filtering, three years of updates, and three Pixelgrade Credits for assisted support.
I already bought this theme. What changes for me?
Nothing about your ownership is removed. Existing purchases, downloads, subscriptions, and license access remain valid under their original terms; your account will identify them as legacy licenses.

Be aware, that pixelgrade might contact you or your customer, if you rename this theme in a way that they dont like or makes it look like an illegal copy (e.g. for your child theme). They accused my customer of using an illegal version and told him that he had to buy the theme in order to using it! They contacted him via Facebook!!! Holy cow guys!
I had to clearify with them and had to send the license key TWICE to different people at pixelgrade, because they dont seem to communicate with each other… Also had a lot of trouble with my customer.
They successfully destroyed the good relationship I had with him. So I recommend NOT buying here – especially when you buy it for your customer.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I suppose that this is just a misunderstanding. We just checked the theme version and we could see that it was a very old one. The latest version of the theme uses a new and improved updating system and the purchase code is now needed. Our intention was to check if this code is the right one and recommend updating the theme to the latest version.

This seemed easy to configure prior purchase… I can not edit anything. You don’t even get what is shown in the demo due to copyright of photos etc.. To be honest this is so bad , I can’t even change that Name ROSA to my Logo.. I can’t believe this. Not worth a penny

We do say what’s in and what’s out Rosa. Second, of all, it is quite unpleasant to use expressions like ”not worth a penny” since the truth is at the opposite side of the spectrum. First of all, Rosa is a presentation theme. So yes, you’re right when you’re saying that it doesn’t have the flexibility of a e-commerce theme.
However, the theme was built to mix & prioritize all the elements, both visual and functional.

1. The most half-assed customer service we’ve ever seen.
2. Pixelgrade keeps their support tickets open for search engines, which may be harmful for your business if you include your website address in text of your ticket. How? Figure it out yourself. We asked their customer support to remove our tickets TWICE. They couldn’t care less.
3. Thanks god I, personally, know css, otherwise we’d be left with VERY limited themes.

As for the tickets – they are completely private and cannot be indexed by search engines, you shouldn’t worry about that.
