Is Mies free?
Yes. Mies is a starter design included with the free Pixelgrade LT stack. Pixelgrade Plus is an optional paid upgrade for deeper controls, updates, and hands-on help.
What do I need to get started?
A self-hosted WordPress site and the free Pixelgrade LT stack. Choose this design during setup, then add your own content and identity.
Can I build the demo with the free stack?
You can start from Mies and its essential layouts for free. Some advanced visual controls, premium assets, WooCommerce styling, and assisted support shown across Pixelgrade sites require Plus.
What does Pixelgrade Plus add?
Plus adds the full design system, advanced block controls, premium fonts and assets, WooCommerce styling, advanced filtering, three years of updates, and three Pixelgrade Credits for assisted support.
I already bought this theme. What changes for me?
Nothing about your ownership is removed. Existing purchases, downloads, subscriptions, and license access remain valid under their original terms; your account will identify them as legacy licenses.
Can I use it for client work?
Yes. The free stack is GPL-licensed. Pixelgrade Plus is licensed per active site; Plus Studio covers up to five active sites for freelancers and repeat builders.

I purchased this theme for its simple and attractive design quality. The downside is that the back button on this theme doesn’t work, which means if I need to go back to the previous page, it shows a blank screen and I have to fix it by refreshing the site, which is quite annoying. (Miles LT theme) I can recommend it, but I’m not fully convinced due to these small bugs.
I am touched by beauty, so Mies is my choice. Everything is difficult for me, I work according to the trial and error principle. I’m just not a professional. I write, make music and art projects for children.
It takes a while to get used to it, but I understand how it works and can explain it to others.
I needed help with a customization feature which seemed glitchy and one of the CS folks was able to help me immediately, and I was very appreciative.
Overall, happy with the theme. I wish there was a way to further customize the hero image pages but I can figure that out myself I think.

I was looking for a theme that projects a high quality, professional presence to my clients. Something that really pops, but wasn’t too hard to build or manage.
The new website rocks, and it’s built on the latest Wordpress technology (Gutenberg & Blocks), so it should provide value for at least the next 5 years. The Nova Blocks allow for some really amazing design customization with very little work, super happy with the results!
Support was amazing, building just the right site was a breeze with Andrei’s help. He really knows what he’s doing, and committed extra effort to help me dial in using Nova Blocks. and the new WP full page editor. I feel like a pro after all the help I received, it is sincerely appreciated, thank you again Andrei!
It took a little time (well worth it) to experiment with all the rich features this theme offers. If you want to keep things simple its great for that, but if you want to build a truly custom site it can do that as well.
A modern WP theme that is very easy to use, and does everything I ask. This is the 2nd theme from Pixelgrade I give my highest rating, both for quality and ease of use. Thanks for the awesome products, and making me look good to my clients, Jeff

I really loved the simplicity of the theme and that’s what stood out to me from a lot of the other themes at ThemeForest. And I also loved the ease of support emails and requests. One of main reasons I chose this theme was because I read the comments on ThemeForest and saw how active you were in helping people. A WordPress theme may have all of the bells and whistles it does but if it doesn’t have GREAT support, and active support, then it’s of no use to me.
I did find the way you designed the homepage(s) to be weird. How you broke them up into sections without just giving the whole page to us and allowing us to customize each section was… strange. Ultimately there was only thing that you couldn’t help me with, the parallax feature of a specific section, and that’s a bummer. It isn’t such a bummer that it would make me rate the theme lower but the theme doesn’t have as many customizations as I would have liked.
Overall, I really LIKE the theme… maybe not LOVE, but I do LOVE LOVE the support!

My client really wanted this theme. I was able to install it and replace the sample content with their own very easily.
The small hiccups I had were corrected with the documentation and video resources. When I couldn’t resolve an issue through documentation, I opened a new ticket and Pixelgrade replied with a video they created that screen capped a demonstration on how to resolve the issue, within 24 hours.
The design is clean and functions very well. I’m not a fan of the overly parallax website, but this one is actually very smooth out of the box.
