Is Julia free?
Yes. Julia is a starter design included with the free Pixelgrade LT stack. Pixelgrade Plus is an optional paid upgrade for deeper controls, updates, and hands-on help.
What do I need to get started?
A self-hosted WordPress site and the free Pixelgrade LT stack. Choose this design during setup, then add your own content and identity.
Can I build the demo with the free stack?
You can start from Julia and its essential layouts for free. Some advanced visual controls, premium assets, WooCommerce styling, and assisted support shown across Pixelgrade sites require Plus.
What does Pixelgrade Plus add?
Plus adds the full design system, advanced block controls, premium fonts and assets, WooCommerce styling, advanced filtering, three years of updates, and three Pixelgrade Credits for assisted support.
I already bought this theme. What changes for me?
Nothing about your ownership is removed. Existing purchases, downloads, subscriptions, and license access remain valid under their original terms; your account will identify them as legacy licenses.
Can I use it for client work?
Yes. The free stack is GPL-licensed. Pixelgrade Plus is licensed per active site; Plus Studio covers up to five active sites for freelancers and repeat builders.

I chose the theme because I liked it very much, the sales seemed very trustworthy and there was the possibility to have support available. Also permanent updates as well as knowing that the theme is future-proof with it.
We were users of the free version of the GEMA theme from Pixelgrade and it was a theme we liked. When we decided to buy the license for that theme, we discovered another theme (HEAP) that would be a better fit for our site, so we bought a license for that theme. Unfortunately this theme was not up-to-date to the latest version of WordPress. When we bought the license, with a 30 days money back guarantee, we received a couple of customer focused e-mails and that they were always ready to support.
As the theme was not okay for us, we contacted Pixelgrade with the request if it was possible to transfer the license from the HEAP theme to the Julia LT theme, and that was no problem at all. They even sent us the full version of the Julia theme. Unfortunately with that theme there would be too much manual work for us to use it, and therefore we wanted to make use of the money back guarantee.
This was no problem at all. In the end it is a pity we cannot use the Pixelgrade theme, but the service from this company and the customer focus is beyond expectation. Always willing to help, always available, rapid responses, etc.
We definitely recommend this company as a supplier of WordPress themes, especially for the after sales experiences.
I loved the design of the product at first sight! So I decided to go for it and I definitely can suggest to buy it with the provided installation package. Saves time and headache, especially, when you are a Newbie like me, never worked with WordPress before.
The manual for the design is a little bit difficult at the beginning, but after a while everything makes sense and is explained very well (including videos and screenshots)

I really like the clean simple bold design of these theme and actually a few others from your suite. I have to say that integrating plug-ins has been painful, but this is perhaps a Wordpress issue as there are so many to choose from and sometimes they are not well vettted or compatible. I would describe your customer service as out of this world and to be honest this is the top thing when doing anything any platform. I am however not so happy with our Godaddy to Wordpress experience, but again that isn’t on you.
This is the first theme I have purchased and I am impressed by the support provided by Pixelgrade. Questions that go beyond the core functionality provided by the theme were answered fast and with excellent walk-throughs for the solutions to the questions.

I was looking for a stylish, easy to use template. I was perfectly willing to invest some time and money to get things up and running, but in order to maintain a productive blogging workflow I needed things to run effortlessly afterwards. This theme does just that, and it does so in a very elegant way.

The theme was great & extremely easy to use. However, if you’re a newbie like me, at times where you’d like a little extra customisation, you’re also required to do coding. I bought “Julia”. It’s easy to customize. I am a beginner. However, it has a wealth of documentation and great support. There was a problem with the Japanese display, but it will be fixed in an update. I am able to create a site while having fun. I’m not worried about anything. Thank you 👋👨🏻💻
