What do I need to get started?
A self-hosted WordPress site and the free Pixelgrade LT stack. Choose this design during setup, then add your own content and identity.
Can I build the demo with the free stack?

I was looking for a WordPress magazine theme to replace my “old” one, which I loved, but after more than a 15 years, it was no longer supported and I needed to upgrade. I am a WordPress user, in that I am a writer, photographer, coach, author, culinary travel writer. I have long had my personal WordPress magazine website on which I publish and republish pictures and articles. I had looked and looked and found themes that were no longer supported or for some reason, didn’t work. Then came across Pixelgrade. They offered support so I emailed questions before I actually purchased the theme, to see if they responded. They did. I was battling to work with the theme template, doing the transition. Then asked George at Pixelgrade, who had been responding to my emails and helping (I was, meanwhile, getting WordPress help from a support group I belong to, but it was slow going as I am not a geek). George offered to help. I gave him access to where I am building my new site and like magic, when I looked just now, he has made it look like I hoped it would. He made it sound very easy… Ha Ha. I now need to see if I can tweak and improve and work it myself and then get it online to replace my existing (old) WordPress theme. If I can, if it works out, I will write another even more positive review. Thanks.
I was looking for a web template that
1. looks very nice
2. looks modern
3. has order, clarity, good structure
4. it looks like a magazine and like a blog
5. has a web shop that I need…
I was wondering how I will include the web shop in a magazine page?
So feltmag is beautiful – beautiful design, color, logic, you can put photos and write a lot of text, and again, it doesn’t look raw like magazines. I can do business through the web shop and explain through texts and photos what exactly we do.
I would tell my friends that they will be very satisfied if they buy a feltmag. Both with support and with possibilities.
Flaws? In the description of feltmag, it says that it is only necessary to replace the existing photos and texts, but it is not quite so. While with some tools like Divi or Elementor it’s very, very easy, it’s not so easy here in feltmag.
Although I have one prior knowledge, I need to study the tutorials and I made many mistakes. Also, the support explained to me how to do something, but I couldn’t find those settings.
The support is excellent otherwise, I would like to thank you for such good support.
We’ve used Felt to build on it the website of the Center of Teaching and Learning at the Agricultural University of Athens. We chose Felt, because of its modern, very refined design that suits our Center’s objective to introduce a modern approach to Teaching in Higher Ed. I bought this because of the price point and what I thought was ease of use. I am not using this product at this time. I have no intention on using this product in the future.

Such a well coded theme that it’s easy to work with and change anything you won’t like. With basic knowledge in CSS you can make it even more “yours” and it’s easy to minify and optimize it for better speed.

I’m launching a digital hyper-local platform for blogging/publishing. The Felt magazine theme is attractive and I bought it to use for this purpose. The on-page customization is the best feature for me. I hoped for a little more documentation for advanced users, but I’ve been able to ask for help by contacting support. It would be helpful to receive a quicker response from the support team as 24 hours is a long time to wait for someone who is using their website for business. The support team has been very helpful for every question I’ve asked.
I would recommend pixelgrade without hesitation to a friend.

The moment I saw the Felt Theme I knew it is the perfect theme for my travel blog. I love the magazine style and the fact, that it looks very different compared to other Wordpress themes.
