Auto-style Post Titles
Post titles for blog articles, projects, and products can be styled automatically to add an extra layer of typography without changing the title text itself. The styling applies both in archive listings and on single pages, so the same title keeps the same emphasis wherever it appears.
Good to know — where this lives.
On your Pixelgrade LT site (built on Anima), Auto-style Post Titles is a single toggle in Style Manager, under Tweak Board. Anima is a block theme, so its styling lives in the Site Editor.
Turn Auto-style Post Titles on or off
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance → Pixelgrade Design to open the Pixelgrade hub.
- Open the Design System tab, then click Open Style Manager. This opens the Site Editor with the Style Manager panel on the right.
- Alternative: you can also go to Appearance → Editor to open the Site Editor directly, then open the Style Manager panel.
- In the Style Manager panel, open the Tweak Board section.
- Find the Auto-style Post Titles toggle and switch it on to apply the styling, or off to keep your titles plain. It is a simple on/off switch — there are no separate style options to choose.
- Save in the Site Editor when you are happy with the result.
Styling rules applied to titles
The Auto-style Post Titles feature formats parts of each title based on its punctuation and letter case. The rules below run automatically whenever the feature is on.
- Uppercase words and words followed by an exclamation mark are made bold.
- Text inside quotes or parentheses is made italic.
- Text between a colon and a question mark or exclamation mark is made italic.
- Text before a colon is made bold.
- In a title that contains only a question mark, everything before the question mark is made bold and everything after it is made italic.
