Why aren’t my Social Links not working?

A ques­tion often asked — “I have includ­ed social links at the bot­tom of my nav­i­ga­tion menu — how­ev­er, I can­not get them to work. Instead of going to the cor­rect link it still includes my web­site URL at the start.

For exam­ple — Twit­ter link should be http://twitter.com/my-username. Instead it goes to http://www.my-site.com/twitter.com/my-username”

That’s because you need to paste the Absolute URL to your account (includ­ing “http://” ):
