How to Add a Pinterest Board?
We have tested multiple plugins that integrate Pinterest on WordPress, and Pinterest Widgets is what we recommend because it creates specific widgets for each need and it’s pretty much plug and play.
Here’s what you need to do to make it happen:
- Log into WordPress Dasboard
- Go to Plugins→ Add new and type Pinterest Widgets in the search field (screenshot)
- Click on Install and Activate
- Now go to Customize→ Appearance→ Widgets and select any widget area you would like to add the Pinterest Board too.
- Click on Add Widget and add Pinterest Board Widget.
Now, in order to display the board you like, go on Pinterest on your favorite board, copy the URL from the address bar, then paste it in the Pinterest Board URL field of the widget.
If you want your board to have a certain size, just change the option from the Board Size dropdown. Keep in mind that if you want your custom sizes, you will have to select Custom in the Board Size menu and then edit the Image Width, Board Height and Board Width inputs. If left empty, they will stretch full‐width to the area the widget is placed in.
