We deeply believe in the power of smart details that can improve someone’s experience in the digital playground. We have a strong focus on shaping the best possible journey, and transitions are something we take very seriously.
Fargo comes with such a visual tweak that can amplify the entire story of your website. It’s called a Page Transition Symbol, and it’s quite easy to set up and put it live and kicking. Just follow the above guidance, and you will make it work by the blink of an eye.
What’s a Page Transition Symbol?
First of all, please keep in mind that in Fargo’s case this particular symbol equals two things: one could be a letter (or a group of letters or even a stand‐alone word), and the second is a SVG code. Both are easy to include in the flow of your photography website.
How do I add Such a Symbol?
Here’s what you need to do to insert a page transition symbol with ease:
- Log into your WordPress dashboard
- Go to Appearance → Customize → click on General (see screenshot)
- Write down a letter or a word that is relevant; usually, most people use the first letter from the website’s name, but it’s not mandatory (see video)
In case you want to play around with a SVG instead, you just need to copy‐paste the code in the field (we recommend to use The Noun Project). Feel free to explore with whatever represents you best and fits the overall look‐and‐feel of your website.
